Security incidences affect every bank, regardless of size. This course will provide critical knowledge to safeguard your bank against security incidences. It will go over tactics to plan for security incidences beforehand and tactics to handle tough situations when security incidences occur. This course also discusses regulatory requirements required of the institution.

Mr. Shane Ensminger
Central Bank & Trust Company

Mr. Shane Ensminger has over a decade of experience as a Community Bank Fraud Investigation and Physical Security Director, Shane brings disciplined, and highly specialized background in risk mitigation, threat assessment, and criminal investigations. Prior to entering the financial sector, he served 22 years in law enforcement, where he developed extensive operational and leadership expertise across multiple high-risk and investigative disciplines. During his law enforcement career, Shane served 13 years as a tactical operator and Assistant Commander of the SWAT team, where he led critical incident responses, high-risk warrant operations, VIP protection details and multi-agency tactical deployments. He also supervised major investigative units including the Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the Intelligence & Organized Crime Unit, managing complex cases involving drug trafficking, gang activity, and organized criminal networks. Shane completed the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado and has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.


Education Alliance Cancellation Policy
Substitutions are always welcome and encouraged. All cancellations and substitutions request must be submitted in writing prior to the event.

KBA Seminar Registrations can cancel 30 days prior to the event date and receive a full refund. Cancellations received between 29 days and 10 days prior to the event will be charged a $50 processing fee. There will be no refund for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the event.

KBA Schools Applicants can withdraw from a KBA School 10 days prior to the 1st day of the school for a refund minus a $150 cancellation fee. There is no refund if an applicant withdraws after the deadline or if applicant fails to attend the school, with the exception of extenuating circumstances. Due to commitments and expenses we cannot reverse, such as: handouts, food, beverages, room rentals, speaker fees, etc.; even extenuating circumstances will require partial refunds because of these expenses.
